Trainer
Following a sucessful career in the NHS, Fiona has been with EDGE Services since 2003.
Fiona is a moving and handling trainer with a background in geriatric and pre-operative care. Since joining EDGE services she has shown great aptitude with regards to the moving and handling of paediatrics at EDGE and has been at the forefront in establishing our ‘Children Handling & Risk Assessment Key Trainer’s Certificate’ course.
A diligent trainer, Fiona’s knowledge, approachability and clear teaching methods mean that she is always popular with delegates. Her favourite aspect of her role at EDGE is sharing knowledge and experience with others – and not just her own! Many of the people who come on our course hail from diverse working environments; she enjoys learning about their experiences and being able to help them with issues that arise from their discussions.
Based in Hertfordshire with her husband Peter, in her spare time Fiona loves to shop, enjoys reading, walking and socialising with family and friends.
