Senior Trainer/Director
After an extremely impressive career spent working for the NHS and as a University Senior Lecturer, Kate founded EDGE Services in 1999.
With a background in orthopaedic rehabilitation, elderly care and community nursing, Kate also spent a number of years teaching, including time spent as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire – School of Health and Human Sciences.
A first class tutor who creates a superb rapport with delegates, one of the most enjoyable aspects of Kate’s role as a trainer is being able to see the confidence and skills that delegates gain from the training she delivers. As one of the company’s directors, she is inevitably proud of the quality of training delivered by the company and of the hard work and commitment shown by the whole team which has made the company one of the leading purveyors of training in the UK today.
Originally from Lancashire, Kate now lives near York with her husband, and fellow director Andy, and their three sons: George, Charlie and Harry. In her spare time she enjoys fine dining, socialising and city breaks.
