Trainer
Following a distinguished career in the NHS, Geraldine (or ‘Ges’) has been an EDGE trainer since 2000.
An established moving and handling trainer with experience in a range of care settings and specialising in ‘challenging behaviour’ is was only fitting that Ges would be the prime mover in designing EDGE services’ successful ‘Managing Challenging Behaviour in the Workplace – Trainer’s Certificate’ course and, more recently, our ‘Conflict Resolution in the Workplace – Trainer’s Certificate’ course.
Ges’s incomparable training style has played a vital and dynamic role in helping staff to deal with violent and aggressive incidents. Her favourite aspect of her role as an EDGE trainer is the sense that the training she delivers makes a real difference in promoting the health and safety of the organisations with which she works.
Yorkshire born and bred Ges can boast the ability to surf and scuba dive proficiently, enjoys going to the races, socialising with family and friends and holidaying with husband Steve.
